Cadets of North Carolina Wing,

 

The Raleigh-Wake Composite Squadron would like to invite all rising Cadet NCO’s, holding the grades of Cadet Senior Airman through Cadet Senior Master Sergeant, to attend our annual NCO School, to be held in Raleigh on Saturday, 16 August 2014. The goal of this day-long activity is to provide Cadet NCO’s with a comprehensive understanding of their role in the cadet program, their responsibilities, and how to perform any assignments they may have at the highest level.  Topics will include:

 

  • Physical Training
  • Drill Instruction
  • Email and Written Correspondence
  • Mentoring
  • Discipline
  • Goal Setting
  • Strategic Planning
  • And more!

 

The event will feature a mix of hands-on activities and seminars, with an emphasis on interactive, engaging instruction.

 

Arrivals at 0800 sharp, dismissal at 1800.

Uniform of the day: arrive in PT Gear, bring full BDU’s.

General Aviation Terminal at RDU Airport

1750 E International Dr, Raleigh, NC

Cost is $10 per person for lunch, bringing snacks OR money for vending machines is recommended.

 

It should be noted that we do not have sleeping quarters available before or after the activity.  The course has been scheduled so that cadets within two hours driving distance of RDU Airport can attend.

 

Equipment:

  • Large bottle/thermos of water
  • Laptop or tablet if you have one
  • Notebook, pen and pencil
